Hello !
Last week we shared natural inspirations with you. At Babel Brune, we love bright colors. However, we cannot deny that natural colors and raw materials bring a soft atmosphere to our homes.
In our first publication, we chose to highlight the ZIG ZAG chair designed in 1934 by Gerrit Rietveld. It is in a vintage interior that the Neal Beckstedt studio (@nealbeckstedt) places this solid wood chair, as a tone-on-tone decorative element on a wooden partition. The clean lines of the chair and the corners of the room are also highlighted by the tiling work of Exquise Surfaces (@exquisitesurfaces)

To illustrate the palette of the week, it is the work of a Greek artist designer that we have chosen to share with you. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the materials of the earth, Linda Pappa has worked earth-dyed fabric on a painted wooden board. A great example of mixing and transforming materials!

Favorite for Kaitlyn's kitchen designed by the Garza interiors studio in Dallas. Here, a multitude of materials come together to create a very successful 60s atmosphere. The white terrazzo countertop sits alongside wooden cabinets and terracotta tiled floors. There is also a set of vintage metal and plywood chairs from the 70s.
