Eve is a visual artist, colorist and illustrator from New Aquitaine with a colorful, peppy and sassy style.
The encounter
It is thanks to our competition ''Draw me an armchair'' a few months ago that we discovered and met Eve and her work:
Among more than 150 entries, the armchair submitted by Eve stands out from the rest. He is one of Clémence and the rest of the jury's favorites, but he will only come second after the public vote. The chair in question will therefore unfortunately not be able to come to life.
But very quickly, to console ourselves, we suggested to Eve that we collaborate on one or two pieces together...
The creative process
What followed were a few weeks of joyful collaborative work and 2/3 hundreds of micro dilemmas resolved...

At Babel Brune, thanks to the magic of digital printing and the characteristics of our velvet suede, we are able to extract and reproduce, pixel ready, the subtleties of the initial work.
The textures of the green school felt used by Eve, the perfect imperfections of a hand-drawn grid, the reflections and textures of a mastered brushstroke, the choice of scanning a slightly fresh painting to capture its reflections:everything is there.
